In Photo District Newswire vertelt Martin Parr over het fotofestival van Arles, dat dit jaar onder zijn supervisie staat.
Parr: "The other great thing about Arles is that it is a perfect location for showing photography. You can walk everywhere and you can see exhibitions en route. The evening screenings are dramatic events and if people like the work they cheer. I've also seen work literally booed off. People there get very emotional about the photography."
